About Zephyrwindmusic Publishing

With the many advancements of music publishing over the years, many traditional publishers have been slow to adapt, and in some cases, gone out of business. Those who are able to adapt with creative new publishing methods to get music to musicians quickly and with less headaches are the future of publishing. These are the main goals of Zephyrwindmusic.

Zephyrwindmusic is a unique publisher in many respects. Each publication is a work in the public domain, edited to meet 21st-century publication standards. By utilizing print-on-demand technology, I can offer bound scores and sets of parts quickly and in a high quality format, far faster and more affordably than the traditional method of publishing.

Each bound score and set of parts comes with an Unlimited Parts Copy License. This means zero copyright issues with parts — something that has increasingly become problematic and, at times, expensive for educational entities. Parts can be copied, scanned, or even posted on a webpage for players to download. There are no limitations.

Zephyrwindmusic works are manufactured by and sold through Amazon. The ease of doing business with Amazon is well known and results in substantial savings as well as other advantages for the buyer. If you have Amazon Prime, shipping is free. Being able to purchase printed music with no shipping or handling charges, who knew?

One final thing makes Zephyrwindmusic unique. Finale files for almost every score are available for purchase. No other publisher provides this option. Contact me directly for further details.

Trumpet Works

Many works I have helped bring to musicians are available from brass music publisher qPress. The brainchild of visionary publisher Tim Quinlin, qPress has one of the most extensive brass catalogs in the world. Among other things, Quinlin is responsible for bringing together numerous contributors to publish Theo Charlier’s famous trumpet etude book in a totally new way. Charlier’s 36 Plus (Transcendental Studies with Complete Supplemental Material) is a must-have for every serious trumpet player, and it is available in PDF or print format. I was so happy to be involved with this project (I did all the typesetting and formatting of the music).

Included in my Zephyrwindmusic catalog is a list of works published by qPress that I helped bring to publication. While you are looking at my qPress works, check out the other works qPress has made available to the public. If you are a brass player, you won’t believe it!

Browse through the Zephyrwindmusic catalog and if there is a publication that meets your needs, give it a try. If you don't see what you are looking for, reach out to see if we can work together.
